- Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jo was at school with daughters of Peron’s generals, learning early the value of discretion.

- Back in Lima, Jo was fascinated by pre-Inca textile and pottery designs, working with archaeologists exploring the mysteries of the Incas.
